The Marikina Private Schools Association (MariPriSAA) Sportsfest officially opened at the Marikina Sports Park last September 13, 2008. However due to bad weather, the games were called off and moved to a later date.
MDPS varsity members and coaches represented our school. Advanced basketball games were held at Marist Grade School covered court which started last August 23, 2008. The MDPS Basketball Varsity Team won over Kostka School during the first game and San Nicholas School on the third game last September 6, 2008.
The Volleyball Varsity Team commenced their official training last August 16, 2008 while the Badminton Varsity Team had theirs on the first week of September.
The Varsity Teams were headed by Coach Jaime Dumaquita for Basketball and Volleyball as assistant, Coach Liza Tan for Badminton and Coach Flor Salvador for Volleyball.
